Coronado was full throttle this weekend as NASCAR brought race-day energy to San Diego with the United Rentals Driven to Serve 250 at Naval Base Coronado.
The event had everything — speed, sun, loud engines, and plenty of drama. One of the biggest moments of the race was a massive 25-car pileup that stopped the race for more than 40 minutes while the track was repaired. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported. Austin Hill went on to take the win after a dramatic last-lap pass, making the day even more memorable.
Beyond the race itself, the atmosphere made the event feel special. With Coronado as the backdrop, it was the perfect mix of motorsports, coastal views, and San Diego energy.
From the pileup to the final laps, NASCAR in Coronado definitely gave everyone something to talk about.
